there's a huge issue with kerning: you got more space between t and h then between "the" and "cia", it's like t he cia... "le" isn't working really well too. also horizontal spaces betw. lines are different each time, they really shoudln't be changed only on the basis of whether the line contains letters like "l" and "t" or not. all in all, it's very unbalanced in my eyes.

Lol actually they are the same width apart, just the lighter colour you cant see well against the light background, there is a yellow line next to the pink one..cheers though..perhaps I should have posted the digital version to make this clearer, photo does not do it justice

that doesn't matter at all. that's not what's kerning about. I do see the yellow line quite well. The problem is that the real amount of blank space between t and h is way to high compare to other cases, which makes it look weird. that's why there's never the same space between letters in real typo, you need much more space between M and L for example, and much less space between T and J. it's not as easy as to create one universal space and put it between exactelly the ends of each letter. If you'd want to do that, you would have to balance the shape of each letter carefully in order to create similar overall "mass" so the comunication between letters would work similary every time. However, you did not do that, letter "t" in your type creates way too large space in upper part, and thus it looks weird and unconected with the rest. Just compare the relation between letters h-e and between t-h and don't tell me you don't see the tremendous difference and disbalance.
