Artist's CommentsPete Harrison vs Niklas Lundberg 'In Japan' is a celebration of Japanese culture blended with the use of architecture and shipping structures, featured here in a collaboration by Niklas Lundberg and Pete Harrison. They both started with a set mix of stock photography and elements, with the challenge of combining them to create two new pieces focusing on divergent aspects of japanese appreciation. The visuals you see here are the outcome of their ideas and provide an aesthetic and innovative approach with an abstract twist. The two artworks are symbolic of the individual and diverse styles of both designers and engage the viewer in an interesting and unique display of renaissance. Essentially the two pieces were formed using the same resources and whilst we both served art direction on each piece, Niklas primarily worked on the top one and I delivered the latter. |
